Godwin A. Maduko is the President, and Managing Director of Delta Associates of Michigan, LLC. He has been working in the housing development and asset/property management field for over twenty years and was nominated for the Neighborhood Impact Award of the 2003 Detroit Community Development Awards sponsored by the Local Initiative Support Corporation (LISC).
Prior to forming Delta Associates of Michigan, Mr. Maduko has worked as the Principal Real Estate Associate Broker and Director of Asset Management for Church of the Messiah Housing Corporation. While at Messiah Housing Corporation, Mr. Maduko was instrumental and fully responsible for establishing, developing, and expanding the Corporation’s property management department. His hands-on directive and community collaboration assisted in increasing the organization’s apartment portfolio size from 36 units to 203 units at the time he left to expand his own business.
Mr. Maduko attended and obtained his degrees in Real Estate and Finance from Eastern Michigan University (EMU). He is a State of Michigan Licensed Real Estate Broker, a Certified Mortgage Loan Officer, an Accredited Residential Manager, and a Certified Housing Tax Credit Compliance Professional.
He has successfully coordinated the acquisitions, renovations, and lease-ups of several multi-family units for past clients at costs exceeding 15 million dollars and has trained and supervised several employees in the housing development and property management fields.
